IEEE Transactions on Autonomous Mental Development
The IEEE Transactions on Autonomous Mental Development publishes original papers of archival journal quality in Autonomous Mental Development (AMD) and is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society and the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.
Recent advances in computational intelligence, cognitive science, neuroscience, and robotics have stimulated the birth and rapid growth of this new research field. Mental development is a process during which a brain-like natural or artificial embodied system, under the control of its intrinsic species-specific developmental program, develops mental capabilities through its real-time interactions with its environments using its own sensors and effectors. More information about the journal can be found here.
